This eclectic track was the result of about 3 hours' worth of random field recordings and a narration from the book of Revelation laid over a 10-minute drum and bass jam session. Need we say more?
lyrics
I saw a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals
I watched as the first seal was opened
Then I heard a voice like thunder say "Come!"
I looked, and there before me was a white horse
Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest
When the second seal was opened, I heard another voice say "Come!"
Then another horse came out, a fiery red one
Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and make men slay each other
To him was given a large sword
When the third seal was opened, I again heard a voice say "Come!"
I looked, and there before me was a black horse
Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand
When the fourth seal was opened, I heard a fourth voice say "Come!"
I looked, and there before me was a pale horse
Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him
They were given power to kill by sword, famine, and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth
When the fifth seal was opened, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain
They called out in a loud voice, "How long until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?"
I watched as the sixth seal was opened
There was a great earthquake, the sun turned black, the moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth
When the seventh seal was opened, there was silence
